You can easily reached Bandarban from Chittagong only by road in 1.5 hours. From capital city Dhaka one can reach Chittagong (port city) by air, train or by bus. From Dhaka to Chittagong every day 3 to 4 domestic flights are available. By flight it takes only one hour it reach Chittagong.
By Inter city trains it takes 6-7 hours to reach Chittagong from Dhaka. Day and night train is available in h morning and evening.
Air-conditioned buses are traveling frequently between Dhaka and Chittagong. The journey takes around 5 to 6 hours with half an hour brake. There is also direct bus service between Dhaka and Bandarban.
Except the rainy season, other seasons are the best time to visit Bandarban, because, in the rainy season, the countryside changes in many ways. From October to March, the sun is mild and temperatures are pleasant. The monsoon is, however, a great time for tropical fruits and fish.
