We only know that the man behind this wonder, Ed Leedskalnin, a Latvian immigrant created this coral castle under the cover of the night. This 5 feet tall man single-handedly excavated, carved and erected over 2 million pounds of coral rock without any modern construction conveniences. Since Ed died with all his secrets within him, nobody knows exactly how this man went about this Herculean task. It’s a place everybody’s got to visit!

You can found some best historic buildings and temples in the ancient city Bhaktapur. It has its own Durbar Square featuring the five-storey Nyatapola pagoda. It is situated 300 kilometers from Kathmandu and 190 kilometers south of Pokhara. This is one of the World Heritage site listed by UNESCO.

Chitwan National Park

Chitwan National Park is situated on the south tip of the country. The park is the jungle home of various animals and birds including Bengal tiger, Indian rhinoceros, deer’s, wild oxen, crocodiles and over 450 species of birds.

Bardia National Park

It is in the west of the country. It is not as big as Chitwan. Bardia National Park doesn’t have as many rhinos and tiger as Chitwan but sighting is remarkable in the smaller area of Bardia.
