Bangladesh is a land of beauty and there are many attractions that you must see while you visit Bangladesh. Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh, with its exciting history and rich culture. World over it is known as city of mosques and muslin. While you are in Bangladesh probably you will be base at Dhaka and be sure to explore its attractions first.

While in Dhaka, take a closer look at various popular historical places around you like 17th century Seven-domed Mosque, 18th century Star Mosque, 11th century Dhakeshwari Temple, 1781 A.D. Armenian Church, Church of Bangladesh or former St. Thomas Cathedral Church (1677 A.D.) at Tejgaon. Lalbagh Fort, Prince Mohammad Azam, Son of Mughal emperor Aurangazeb, built it in 1678 A.D, Ahsan Manzil Museum, 1857 Memorial Bahadur Shah Park, Curzon Hall, Old High Court Building.

The memorial is dedicated to the sacred memory of the millions of martyrs of the 1971 war of liberation.

Rejandrapur National Park and Sundarban National Park are another popular place with nature lovers who prefer to see nature in its natural habitat. Rejandrapur National Park is the perfect destination for birdwatchers and Sundarban National Park is the largest mangrove forest in the world, here you can see Royal Bengal Tigers, spotted deer, birds, and monkeys in their national habitats.

For nature lovers, Sylhet and Hill Tracts are another popular places to visit, The main places of tourist attraction in Sylhet and Hill Tracts are Tamabil, srimongal, Jaflong, Jaintipur, Haripur, Madhabkunda, Moulvibazar and Kaptai.

Bangladesh is also well known for its beaches. Kuakata beach is at the southernmost tip of the country, from where you can view both the sunset and sunrise. Inani Beach is the world’s longest beach located in Cox’s Bazar, most crowdie beach of country. If you want to avoid crowds, you can visit Patenga beach that tourists visited frequently.
If you have interest in archaeological, you can spend some time to visit oldest archaeological site at Mainamati, Mahasthangarh and Paharpur.
