Bristol is a metropolitan area of South-West England, a part of the group of English Core Cities. It is the most populous city in South-West England (UK’s 8th and England’s 6th). The city follows a Unitary-type of government with the executive of Leader and Cabinet being Lib Dem. As of 2009, it had a population of 433,100 with a density of 3,639/km2. Bristol is a multi-ethnic city comprising of Whites, Black, SOuth and East Asians. Its area last recorded was 110 km2. In the south-west of England it is the center of culture, education and employment. Its geographical coordinates are 51°27N 2°35W. For football followers, the city gives two clubs – Bristol City and Bristol Rovers.
